This evening at 8 pm Eastern, I’ll be joining the panel at The Rick Moran Show on Blog Talk Radio for “Palinpalooza.” The question before the combined sages of political prognostication will be, “Is Sarah Palin’s Career Dead?” I know what you’re thinking… how did we get such an obscure topic which absolutely nobody else is talking about? Well, that’s just how we roll. You’d never be able to guess it, of course, but I’ll be taking the “Yes, she’s toast” perspective. (Sorry if I ruined the surprise for you.)
Tomorrow, because of a scheduling conflict, Cindy and I will be doing our weekly edition of Mid Stream Radio on Wed. instead of Thursday at ten in the morning, eastern. We’ll be going over some new material on the latest health care reform proposals making the rounds of the beltway. And be sure not to miss my two hour tribute to the life and times of Michael Jackson as I read the lyrics from the entire Thriller album with no accompaniment except bagpipes. (No, I didn’t manage to type that with a straight face.)
See you on the radio.
Jackson on the bagpipes may be a joke (please, dear God, let it be so!) but I attended a wedding reception this weekend where Bon Jovi was remixed to a techno beat. I'm not a big Bon Jovi fan, but I recognize a train-wreck when it happens in front of me.
Jazz,
Here’s a remarkably insightful article from (of all places) the Huffington Post.

Hell, even the starry-eyed-Obamaniacal liberal media are reconsidering their position as they discover they are being manipulated. Today's short remark by an editor here in Detroit metro was as right about Obama and the lib media as he was about the treatment of gays and the gays-in-the-military issue. (See below) Finley is one of the few non-liberal media people, in this case, here in Detroit metro — very welcome fresh, normal viewpoints expressed routinely.
(Note: Finley's beginning-of-the-end-of-the-liberal-media-honeymoon-Obama-lovefest remark isn't on-line.)

Incidentally, Finley is not a Palin fan and (which I like) he supports a back-to-basics movement for the GOP and for US conservatism (the reducing-and-reforming-and-restricting-government-properly movement).
