“I think there is somewhat of an identity crisis in the Republican Party. Are they going to be a party that attracts values voters, and are they going to be the party that lives by those values?”
I thought “they” already were
Couldn't care a whit about that. Its time the GOP dropped the “values” aspect and get on to what they can appeal to more Americans on, fiscal conservatism. That is an election winner, especially with the soaring debt that the Democrats are laying on future generations. If the GOP can dump the “values” aspect, they should be able to regain control over the federal government and keep democratic hands off the taxpayer wallet.
