Why is this blog even posted? A Bishop admits he is gay. So what? Do you report every Bishop that admits they are heterosexual?? Scandel or no, Catholic or not. one has to be one or other — hetero or gay — Bishop or not. Catholic priests swear to celibacy. This does not relinquish their sexuality. Hetero Catholic priests must swear to celibacy as must gay Catholic priests. For a self-proclaimed “moderate” site, this snicker, snicker, juvenile post is disappointing at best.
