What Do Political Cartoons and McDonalds Have in Common? (Guest Voice) »
Hello TMV readers.
We have the capability to have threaded comments in all past, present, and future articles. In some of the longer comment threads, there has been some feedback that it’s hard to follow who’s responding to who. So we have enabled threaded comments on a trial basis to see how it goes. Just click the “Reply” button under a comment to see how threaded comments work.
Let us know what you think!
I'll start things off…
Wow!
Your're fast – nice improvement.
Thanks for all the extra stuff in the comments!!
Maybe that thanks should be up here, so thanks for all the extra stuff in the comments.
I'll not only test mine on George's, but think T-Steel for this. I've long wanted the threaded comments. So much easier to follow who is talking to who. Avoids confusion. But do new comments without responses still come in at the bottom or the top?
My early impression is… this is good. But does it have to be either/or? In other words, can we choose between a flat, chronological order and an interleaved reply/reply order, or does it have to be one or the other? If it's the latter, then I think I prefer the interleaved order.
I wanna know how far over to the right we can push the thread.
:>
Also — I agree that it would be nice to have the threading as an option. Is that possible?
