Praying for a miracle!

I’m not a religious man. But I’m praying something miraculous happens and Hurricane Gustav and Tropical Storm Hanna dissipate. I have family in Lake Charles, Louisiana who are evacuating now. My cousin and her husband are staying with us while a few other family are going to Cincinnati, Ohio (where other family resides).

Hurricane Gustav scares me on what it can do the Gulf Coast that is still in full recovery mode. Nature trumps all on this planet.

God Bless and protect your family T. In all our yacking about the political implication of Gustav, we are forgetting that real people are in the path of this storm. I pray for their and everyone's else's in the Gulf Coast's safety.

I'm keeping your family in my thoughts, T. It sickens me a little when I see some people hope that this storm will hit the U.S. because it'll mess up the Republican convention.

For the record, I hope it hits nowhere.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm a former resident of Louisiana, currently leaving on the east coast. I truly miss living on the U.S. Gulf Coast. (Sigh!)

I've read online Hurricane Gustav and Tropical Storm Hanna may be followed by a third storm. (Sigh!) I am confident that you and your family will be safe.

God - Our Father , allow this storm to lessen or turn away. Cause people to trust in your Divine power. We trust in You and believe that if we ask it will be granted. We ask this in the Holy Name of your Son , Jesus Christ. Protect the gulf coast and people who are still suffering.
