You Tell Them Tonight, Hillary!

Robert Stein provides a pretty good outline as to “What Hillary Should Say Tonight.”

In particular, I like the words:

A decade ago, I saw first-hand the politics of personal destruction and the lengths to which those who practice it will go in their lust for power. The bitter irony now is that they are invoking my name in an attempt to destroy the opponent with whom I engaged in an intense but honorable contest for the nomination we will be bestowing on him here.

And,

They are the true enemies of everything we believe in, and we must not let them practice their divide-and-conquer tactics on us.

Of course, Hillary (in Stein’s suggestion) is referring to the Bill Kristol’s in the Republican Party who so disingenuously—and so transparently—feign “empathy” for Hillary in her so-called “betrayal” by her Party, especially by Obama supporters. (See my “Bill Loves Hillary—Bill Kristol, That Is.“)

Empathy, my foot!

They despise Hillary Clinton almost as much as they loathe Barack Obama.

They claim to hear and feel the “the anguished cries of Hillary supporters.” Yes, probably as much as they hear and feel the anguished cries of those who have been tortured under their beloved Bush-Cheney administration; and probably just as much as they hear and feel the anguished cries of those who have become destitute, homeless, lost their health care, etc., under their beloved Bush-McCain team.

There is only one small paragraph I would add towards the end in “What Hillary Should Say Tonight”:

So, to those out there who believe the Democratic Party is a piñata which, if beaten hard enough using my name as a bat, will rupture and let the candy–my supporters–fall into their preying hands, let me tell you loud and clear: ¡Eso no se puede!

Ha ha ha... Rushbo launched his Operation Chaos and Hillary began to win big-state primaries and now I doubt if she will complain. Someone should tell Picture of Dorian that HRC has ambitions in 2012 that she may think an Obama victory would scotch.

Repubs actually prefer a known quantity to a guy with ONE HOUSE which he bought with the assistance of a guy named Rezko. Plus all sorts of other unopened closets in the Obama bio that the leftist media refuses to acknowledge, let alone open.

Ah Ha! mystery solved! Silhoutte is actually daveinboca! Only someone following Rushbo's marching orders could be behaving so irrationally.

    Good prank!

Irrational maybe, but also disappointingly unoriginal... well, except for "The Picture of Dorian" which was a cute touch.

Ah, the return of Dave in Boca. We missed you!

Drats... And to think all this time I thought Silhoutte was a pseudonym for "Holly In Cincinnati". A shadow to hide in.

The GOP launched its stop Hillary campaign with the aid of its allies in the media right after the '06 election. They wanted her stopped because of her partisanship--- well--- now they pretend that Obama was the one that they really wanted to stop all along-- because he's an unknown quantity. Give it up you guys! The far right doesn't even really want John McCain in the presidency!

She is telling it to 'em good. You go girl!

And now that we've gotten to see and hear it -- her speech was lousy. She was wooden at times like Al Gore, obviously self-serving, took too long to say little of value, and had us non-robotically-worshipping members of the nation-wide audience begging for the Hook to yank her off the stage by the time she finished (and we were laughing derisively).

She failed to give a good speech, instead gave a pathetic performance, well below expectations. Nearly all of last night was a dud. Are the Dems just an empty shell now other than for Obama (who obviously was the better candidate this year if her speech is indicative of quality and appeal)? Hopefully tonight will be better.
