I started re-reading The Cancer Ward again last week & the fellow still packed a punch decades after the insane USSR [ still mirrored today inside living fossils like N.Korea, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Burma/Myanmar] hyper-socialism collapsed due to its totalitarian madness.

One of the greatest examples of a man of literature changing the world for the better.
