Win a free trip to the GOP convention!
Lots of us in the blogging community will be attending the GOP Convention this September in Minnesota to cover the events live and report back to you. Would you like a chance to join us for free? Stop by the convention’s YouTube page for details of how you can submit a two minute video and possibly win a free trip to the big party. Ok, there’s one catch. You need to be a Republican, and the them of your video must be, “Why I’m a Republican in 2008.” The deadline is Friday, though, so you’ll need to hurry!
Wait a minute… I had to blog non-stop for years, sit through endless conference calls, go through weeks of security clearance checks to get credentials and I still have to pay my own way, but you guys get to flip open your phone, snap off a quick video clip and you get a free ride? Grumble grumble grumble.

Actually I sent it in already and I dont want to ruin the surprise when Im toasted as the conquering hero at the RNC convention in September.
