AIPAC Conference: Perfect place for Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, Obama unity

I could be dreadfully wrong, both in the prediction that they will show unity in anyway related to the who will be the presidential nominee for the Democratic party, and in other ways, but hey, weirder things have happened.

Read about the conference here.

Read about GOP presidential candidate and US Senator John McCain’s speech here. View it here or listen or get the transcript here.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are set to speak on Wednesday as well as part of the plenary:

June 04, 2008
8:45 AM – 10:45 AM
Wednesday Morning Plenary
Featuring

*
The Honorable Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)

Speaker of the House, United States House of Representatives
*
The Honorable Harry Reid (D-NV)

Majority Leader, United States Senate
*
The Honorable Hillary Clinton (D-NY)

Democratic Presidential Candidate
*
The Honorable Barack Obama (D-IL)

Democratic Presidential Candidate
*
The Honorable John Boehner (R-OH)

Republican Leader, United States House of Representatives

Wouldn’t you love to be a microphone on their conference table. After tomorrow night, it will be fascinating to hear them speak. According to reports, even with the New York gathering mentioned for Clinton Tuesday evening, she is still expected to be in D.C. for this event.

Hmm. Some on behalf of certain constituency-type promises in the works, maybe? It certainly would be quite a signal to have Pelosi, Reid, Obama and Clinton together, at AIPAC of all places, to show unity against a candidate like John McCain, wouldn’t it?

top 10 reason's why NO as a VP choice..1. She is exactly the kind of politics that Obama is trying to get
    away from.
    2. Republicans hate Clinton, so if you hope to bring some of that
vote over, she is just not an option.
    3. Bill Clinton running around again in the White House.
    4. This is the same Woman who Claimed Sniper Fire and lies with a
straight face like her husband...TRUST THEM? NOT!!!
    5. Back stabbers, as we have seen recently, especially to the black
    communities who have supported them.
    6. Anger issues...both Bill and Hillary need to attend anger
management training and in the white house Obama needs someone who
can gather all the fact first before OPENING their mouth and making
dangerous moves/decisions before looking at the BIG PICTURE.
    7. Hillary has been whipping up resentment in her supporters by
intimating that Obama's win is some how not legitimate and that the
election is being stolen from her. HOW DO YOU WORK ONE CHANGE WITH
    THAT KIND OF PERSON!
    8. As a woman, I would LOVE to see another women in the white house,
but she would act similar to how she chose to run her campaign, which
    caused me to lose respect.
    9. There is a coldness in her personality.
    10. Obama would have her and her husband in all the business. He
can't possibly believe that she'll follow his lead.

Just 10 off the top of my head...

Please pass around and forward for feedback in a grassroots effort to
    keep this from happening...

  • Rhonda - you should start your own blog you know. :)

This post obviously doesn't have a thing to do with VP choices. I don't know that Clinton would be the right one.
