You don’t hear much about them. They’re unsung heroes. People from places such as Uganda who work — and die — with little fanfare in their jobs as cleaners, cooks and construction workers in Iraq’s Green Zone.

    If this were added to an article about the fate of construction workers and other laborers spirited into Iraq by subcontractors of US firms, often by means so fraudelent as to amount to kidnapping,....

    ... we might eventaully get a better idea about the costs of the war.

    I wonder if we will ever really know what the Iraq experiment consisted of..
