It looked different from Cincinnati. I went outside early on and shoveled and salted the walk while watching the eclipse. I went outside a few other times during the eclipse to look but was quickly driven inside by the cold.
We didn't venture outside – the pictures were from inside where we were near a portable heater! And they were taken through a telescope so that might be partly why it looks different.

Thanks pacatrue but for people who like this kind of photography, I have to share this much, much, MUCH better set of photos taken by a real photographer. I found them totally by accident, but he did a fantastic job – they are worth the time to click over to them here.
