Your Chance to Talk Back

01aradio.png
If you’ve been waiting for a chance to bust my chops . . . er, talk back to me, tune in at 2 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday afternoon when I do a star turn on Heading Right Radio.

The host of this Internet talk show is the estimable Ed Morrissey of Captain’s Quarters.

Captain Ed will first interview Maureen Faulkner, the widow of murdered Philadelphia police Officer Daniel Faulkner about her new book regarding the crime and arrest, trial and conviction of left-wing darling Mumia Abu-Jamal.

I’ll be up next to discuss my knowledge of the case and belief that even through the criminal justice system may have failed Abu-Jamal in key respects, that does not absolve him of the murder.

You can access the stream for Ed’s show here.

If you’d like to call in live, the number is 646-652-4889. If you want to listen on your TiVo, click here to find out how simple that is.

There’s nothing wrong with letting people know about this.

    Congratulations, Shaun, on being recognized.

  3. Can we at least stop pretending Shaun has any cred as a laftist?

  4. He SHOULD let people know. I’ve been on several of these shows and due to my schedule could not let people know. Also, FYI, Capt. Ed always does a post about what’s on his show. The only reason I haven’t put posts on tmv (and I’ve probably now done about 8 hours of internet talk radio shows altogether) is that I forget or am too busy. So, no, it isn’t shameless at all. This is blog talk radio over the Internet and if people don’t inform readers of it, no one knows about it.

Blog talk radio is exploding and it is QUITE good. I’ve told people that I originally wanted to go into radio (I don’t have a great radio voice). I’m a huge fan of talk radio and a student of it because I listen to shows and analyze how they’re done etc. Ed Morrissey is probably a better talk radio host than anyone who’s doing it on the airwaves (his pacing is excellent, and his interview techique — I’m now talking as a former journalist — is superb). I was also on another show with another superb host shaun o’mac and recently on a new radio talk show hosted by Jazz Shaw. But without promo, this new medium cannot take off.

Good luck, Shaun! (who has never claimed to be a leftist or a rightist, lol)
