New York Times: 77 Police Officers Hurt in Paris Riots
Nearly 80 French police officers were injured during clashes with youths in a working- and lower-class suburb north of Paris last night, and six are in serious condition, police officials said, after some of the youths used hunting shotguns as well as more conventional guns, fire bombs and rocks.
From a BBC News story on this:
Would have been nice to get some details on the incident itself in that report. Did the cops just run those kids down on purpose or we talking a wild over reaction by the people again?
It’s the latter, Sam.
“Oppression” and “protest” nonsense by the criminals cannot excuse destruction of things like libraries and schools, and other things into which so much money has been poured over several years (as well as subsidized housing for so many of these criminals).
