From a BBC News story on this:

There are also signs that children as young as ten on bikes acting as spotters and a youth with a scanner tuned to police frequencies to keep one step ahead of the police.

[Vive le Sarkozy!] Mr Sarkozy was heavily criticised two years ago after he called for crime-ridden neighbourhoods to be “cleaned with a power hose” and described violent elements as “gangrene” and “rabble”.

Would have been nice to get some details on the incident itself in that report. Did the cops just run those kids down on purpose or we talking a wild over reaction by the people again?

    It’s the latter, Sam.

“Oppression” and “protest” nonsense by the criminals cannot excuse destruction of things like libraries and schools, and other things into which so much money has been poured over several years (as well as subsidized housing for so many of these criminals).
