Fred W. McDarrah (1926-2007)
Longtime readers of the Village Voice will mourn the passing today of staff photographer Fred W. McDarrah, who over a 50-year span documented the rise of the Beat Generation, the New York City’s postmodern art movement, its politicians and social protests.
