The reason you are getting no comments is that, whether or not you want to admit it, almost all of your commenters are “lefties” and they have nothing they want to say about this. This whole Beauchamp story is an arrow aimed at the Liberal Narrative’s heart. It exposes both the perpetrators and the consumers in a harsh light.

Your commenters are merely observing the First Rule of Holes (while desperately wishing that this whole thing could go away).

I will wait till someone other than WeaklyStandard pushes the story. By the way nb2, TNR isn’t the Nation. TNR has been about as pro-war as John McCain.

What about the integrity of Fred Barnes and Bill Kristol. I seem to recall BK working on W’s SOTU speech and the going on Fox Noise and pretending to be an independent analysist.

    nb2,

There are multiple comments on Joe’s post. And I think the Right would also be silent if one of theirs had been caught (or allegedly caught) red handed.

    Rudi,

I tend to agree with you, even from my right-of-center perspective. Check out GTL’s post. Hilarious.

    Bob,

Can you explain why a minor story in a hawkish New Democrat magazine that was picked up primarily by Conservative blogs and ignored by just about everyone else, does anything to your alleged Liberal Narrative?

Iwould say, we simply don’t care. Where’s the beef?

“This whole Beauchamp story is an arrow aimed at the Liberal Narrative’s heart.”
How come? What narrative? Or is Beauchamp a liberal? Again, why should liberals care?
