Chris Dodd on Quid Pro Quo
“But money only buys access, not votes!”
That’s the line. You won’t ever see a politician say the opposite quite so plainly:
“Those who count on quote ‘Hollywood’ for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who’s going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don’t ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don’t pay any attention to me when my job is at stake,” [former Senator Chris] Dodd said on Fox News on Thursday.
Dodd is talking about the race away from PIPA/SOPA.
I’m moving towards the #ThrowThemAllOut movement (recognizing that this solution has its own problems).

Well, Dodd has been one of the worst when it comes to being bought and sold. At least he is owning up to it in plain language and in a way that make is obvious that he has no problem with the situation…completely rationalized fing over the American people in order to get re-elected.
They really should make bribery illegal again somehow.
