There are some endorsements that politicians love to have. Then there are endorsements that are neither here nor there. Finally, there are those endorsements a politician can definitely do without. Here is an endorsement for Newt Gingrich that probably falls into the latter category.
Poor ol’ Newt.
Sure glad I had “cows and kids needin’ new shoes©” during the supposed cheating years… Never had the time and didn’t miss not having it.
The cows and kids were great company… though a lot of work.
SteveK-
WTF do you mean by “Cows”..?
Allen – It’s part of a poem I wrote about growing up with my kids called “Playing with Three Chords”:
We were raising cows and pigs and chickens… Nothing wierd or strange!
Am I wrong for giggling in glee at this? I have always been a Romney or Huntsman or Johnson partisan, who thought that Newt was one of the main root causes of the breakdown of governance in Washington. Thus, I cannot help but cackle in glee that Newt is getting his just desserts in this manner.
SteveK-
You put shoes on horses not cows, so your verse makes no sense.
Well, we had cows, AND we had kids needin’ new shoes ergo cows an’ kids needing new shoes.
Allen – Your constant, in your face, need to have all things be as you perceive them, other views be damned, is highly entertaining and it’s convinced me that you’re simply a rightie in drag.
Before you ask – I did not just say that “righties in drag are highly entertaining” though “righties in drag” and “highly entertaining” were both used in the same sentence.
SteveK-
I don’t think many people consider “drag” in their conversations.
Merry Christmas to you too.
