It seems that, what promises to be a fascinating documentary, will be released June 12. The subject of the documentary: Ralph Nader’s (political) career. The publisher is Genius Products. It’s a two-disc DVD set, loaded with 1.5 hours of bonus features, among them:
- deleted scenes (The Congress Project, No Nukes and The Congressional Black Caucus)
- featurettes:
— something that will interest a lot of TMV readers I am sure: Debuting the Role of Third Parties in the U.S.
— What Happened to the Democratic Party?
— Why is the Right Better Organized than the Left?
— and much more
The documentary itself is 122 minutes long.
You can order it here.
I hope to receive the documentary by mail soon: I am looking forward to watch it. Once I have, I will publish a review, both here and at my own blog.
Great. If you think it’s worth it I may get it. Voted for the guy the last 3x.
Well, he’s interesting, let’s say.
Two things about him: he has advocated federal corporate charters (and possibly even federal officials as directors of corporations), and he has advocated lowering the voting age (he knows where his lefty votes can be found!).
DLS: Well, at least politicians are known crooks, while corparitistas still pretend they ain’t.
Dan: ok – you will see from my review… They’ll send it to me, so I hope to watch it soon.
My problem with Nader is very simple. Anyone who in 2000 believed that there was truly no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats either wasn’t paying attention or was guilty of their own ideological lobotomy. Anyone who still believes it has really gone off the deep end.
