Crooks and Liars has the audio up of a debate between blogger Glenn Greenwald and one of the most important and influential neoconservatives in America, Frank Gaffney, on Alan Colmes’ radio show.
Frank wrote an article for the Washington Times recently, arguing that dissent during war time is treasonous. Glenn – of course – doesn’t exactly agree with that and… the debate became heated.
Glenn comments on the debate at Salon.
Also: go go here to listen to Joe Gandelman on BlogTalkRadio (show of 2/17) commenting on the surge, Bush, conservatives, centrists, newsmedia, The Moderate Voice as a blog, etc.
Michael,
You forgot to mention the false(lie) quote attributed to Lincoln. This same lie made it to the House floor during the Iraq resolution debate. Seems some of the house staff don’t Googles.
I didn’t forgot to mention anything. It’s just a short post with a link to a debate. Read it and listen to it.
So sorry
.
Treason?
It amazes me that consevatives like Gaffney have made such an investment in executive power.
Aren’t they afraid their arguments–in their very own words–will continue to be used under Hillary or Obama or Dennis Kusinich?
