I commented for 6 months that once the democrats were elected we would still be in Iraq in 2012. Kinda funny they are all supporting their own little ideas of what to do which in the end does 2 things.
1.) Makes them look vehemently opposed to the war.
2.) Accomplishes nothing.
It’s what politicians are good at. Its what they do. The real debate is not between them. Its between you and me. We argue, blogg and rant and rave for our side but in the end……NOTHING gets done, while the dems and repubs slap each other on the back and say well looks like we did it again…..
Now whose Corporate Jet are we flying to Tahiti this week??
Upinsmoke I am amazed to say this, but I agree with you. Well, I’m not so sure we’ll be in Iraq in 2012, or than in the case that we are we wouldn’t be if the repubs are in charge, but on the whole, I agree that most pols are al bark and no bite. At the end of the day the’yre all on the same team, that’s why serious campaign and lobbying reform is a pipe dream, at least for now.
Wow, the post really is gone. Maybe a technical problem? Still, I’d like to get it back, I had no time to read the comments and I wanted to. I’m totally ignorant regarding vouchers. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t care if all the money goes to McDonalds as long as kids can get a decent, free education.
“Jason removed it.”
???
I thought it was an interesting topic. There is much I’d like to have said on the position of unions in the US, but I simply was too tired. Damn…

I really think you’re a great person, Joe!
Oops, personal remark. Ok, ban me…
Hey, where’s the teacher’s Union piece? It’s not on the front page nor bookmark, nor in Jason’s file.

Jason, it’s kind of cowardly to post an inflammatory piece about teacher’s unions, then when others disagree to removeit, and their rebuttals.
C’mon. TMV allows for dissent. Shame on you, Jason.

LOL, yeah, but the Happy Meals in the cafeteria might not be a good idea.

Come on, no unfair premature accusations, pls. This might really be a technical glitch, we simply don’t know.

No- I emailed Jason, Joe, & MVDG- Jason removed it. Query him for his reasons.
