Specter: There’s More Than One Decider
Senator Arlen Specter, whose flip-flops on presidential powers have been downright schizophrenic, today challenged President Bush’s declaration that he was “The Decider.”
Said the Pennsylvania Republican during a hearing on the war powers of Congress:
“I would suggest respectfully to the president that he is not the sole decider. The decider is a shared and joint responsibility.”

I just wrote an entire post regarding my opposition to gun control and with one click of the Say It! button,

Gone…forever.
It was very long and took me a very long time to write, and unfortunately, I didn’t have enough sense to save a copy of it on Word first (which is my usual protocol).
