All of us here at TMV are pleased and honored to welcome Dennis Sanders as our newest “Voice.”
Dennis describes himself as “an ordained pastor who lives in Minneapolis. I’m a moderate, gay, Black Republican involved in many moderate groups such as Log Cabin Republicans and Republicans for Environmental Protection. I live in Minneapolis with my partner Daniel and have two blogs: NeoMugwump, a political blog and Oscar the Pastor, a place where I blog on religious and spiritual issues.”
Dennis comes to TMV after mentioning to TMV Assistant Editor Pete Abel that he’d be interested in writing here. Pete worked with him before and spoke very highly of him — and we had in fact linked to him on some roundups and have his blog on our blogroll. Once we returned to read through his writings, it confirmed our impression and Pete’s enthusiastic recommendation.
Dennis promises to be a great addition to the collection of truly independent-minded, issue-oriented thoughtful “voices” that comprise the “perspective buffet” we offer you here at The Moderate Voice.
