Tina Fey was back in great form on Saturday Night Live doing her Sarah Palin impression. But this time the satire was not only about Palin, but Palin’s role as a media star – and the politicization of entertainment content.
In these days of the politicization of news networks (MSNBC is the favorite of the left; Fox News is the favorite of the right; and CNN struggles to carve out a space in the center and attract some viewers of the left and right who may watch a show or news analysis that they don’t already agree with) some of the satire in this SNL skitch in essence. may become reality within the next decade or so. In fact, with some slight revisions you could already image them on Fox News or Fox:
