If you think you’ve noticed some new names at TMV in recent weeks, you’re correct. Over the past month we’ve added three new people to our list of TMV writers. Two introduced themselves upon coming on board. Yours truly wants to take some time while on a long trip (this is written from Wall, South Dakota) to formally welcome Tony Campbell to TMV. Tony is a columnist for www.examiner.com and has done some excellent Guest Voice posts for us in recent weeks.
If Tony’s political posts seem stand-back analytical, perhaps it’s because he is also an adjunct political science professor at Towson University, where he teaches American national government and political theory. He also has worked in Congress and in the Social Security administration.
The two other most recent TMVers are retired U.S. Air Force officer and aerospace/defense executive Dorian de Wind and attorney Pat Edaburn. For a list of bios of TMV writers (which is still being updated) GO HERE.
Joe Gandelman is a former fulltime journalist who freelanced in India, Spain, Bangladesh and Cypress writing for publications such as the Christian Science Monitor and Newsweek. He also did radio reports from Madrid for NPR’s All Things Considered. He has worked on two U.S. newspapers and quit the news biz in 1990 to go into entertainment. He also has written for The Week and several online publications, did a column for Cagle Cartoons Syndicate and has appeared on CNN.
