This week, your faithful TMV reporter is in Manhattan to check out the 2009 New York International Auto Show and we’ll be talking to some folks involved in the auto industry about the future of Detroit, environmental concerns and progress on the fuel efficiency front and related topics so it can be reported back to you here first hand. (Aren’t we nice?) Shown to the left if one of the many concept cars on display during this show preview for the media. We’ll bring you some more eye candy over the next 48 hours.
I’ve already spoken at length with Charles Territo of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and gotten his take on a number of subjects regarding government regulation of the industry, the future of cars which are eco-friendly and short on greenhouse gas emissions and several related topics.
We’ll be bringing you more of this in the next 48 hours, but I just wanted to provide a teaser of what’s to come.
