Home of Alan Keyes
SPECIAL BULLETIN
We will run this item from Andrew Quinn in full due to its SHOCKING NATURE. Brace yourself before reading it:
KEYES FOR GOVERNOR
In other news, a general state of emergency has been declared over the entire state of Illinois.
No, we’re being serious (although we really wish we weren’t). I’m no Blagojevich fan; he seems to spend more time on his political feuds than governing the state. I’ve often said I’d endorse the right Republican over Rod.
ALAN KEYES IS NOT THAT MAN!!
Quinn (who writes great stuff and is now an official contributor at Centerfield) links to a Chicago Sun Times item which reads:
Rumble is former Republican U.S. Senate candidate/nightmare Alan Keyes is eyeing a bid for governor.
Let us pray for deliverance.
Keyes, whose religious and political views give moderate GOPers the shakes, is not only back . . . he’s conducting the first meeting of his "Cook County United" gathering of 40 to 50 of Cook County’s best conservative activists in his Loop office tonight!
Don’t miss dinner.
I thought after his last race Keyes was going to become a singer and put out a CD (titled "Looney Tunes").
UPDATE: The Rittenhouse Review: "Keep at it, dude. Maybe one day something will stick."
