I have had the tremendous privilege of posting at The Moderate Voice for many years and have been given great freedom to share my perspective on issues I hold dear to my heart. With the extreme partisan polarization we see in our current political discourse, I thought I would share with Moderate Voice readers an aspect of my life that usually doesn’t make it onto this site. I’m including a radio program I broadcasted today on a Seattle Christian radio station. The show deals with my understanding of the differences between being political versus partisan. I look at how Christians are called to not just be right, but reconciling. I also examine George Washington’s Farewell Address and what it tells us about America’s real problem. In the last year I have felt profoundly alienated and disheartened by the political climate of our country. Regardless, I’m trying my best to facilitate a better dialogue in what I perceive to be increasingly bitter times. Feel free to take a listen. Peace to each of you.
