Here’s the latest from Wall Street Poet Michael Silverstein:
Supreme Court Angst
When our votes got you elected,
There were things that we expected,
With the high court’s new decisions,
We were promised big revisions. For appointments we made clear,
On the bench what we hold dear,
Judges who with God are chummy,
Not another lib’ral dummy.Justices who would deposit,
All them gays back in the closet,
And no medical cavorting,
Would excuse future aborting.Public schools would have class prayer
Darwin’s lies would disappear
Courts would meet all our desires,
Then you give us…
Har’yet Miers? You’re The Man, we can not order,
But for you we carried water,
Now we’re saying, we will flee ya,
Unless you clone Ant0nin Scalia.
