It’s election year…aka the silly season…and since politicians of both parties are now busy giving voters a song and dance, how about some real ones…vaudeville style?
First, a song by legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and vaudeville/radio/tv star Jimmy Durante: Bill Bailey…with the boffo vaudeville style ending (from the 1960s ABC variety show The Hollywood Palace):
And now for a REAL old-style song and dance, here’s Durante in 1955 with his old vaudeville partner Eddy Jackson doing their old stage/nightclub act — complete with a song, dance and that boffo ending.
But politicians are giving us a bigger song and dance than these..
