It’s always wrenching to lose a loved one — particularly one who shockingly dies in the prime of life. When Stephanie of Marra Barra — a Brooklyn musician who performs professionally using a variety of instruments as a one woman band, live loop station — was visiting relatives in Connecticut her 39-year-old brother, Aaron, shockingly died. After the funeral she returned home, woke up, and was teary eyed as she continued to grieve — so she recorded this song about her brother right onto her computer.
