I just had a crash course in the DISADVANTAGES of cable “bundling” — where you get your television, phone and cable all through the same company for a discount.
This afternoon my phones (unlisted home and business) went out. So did my television cable. So did my Internet. They went out around 4 and JUST came back on. Now the question is: is this a WISE thing to do — to put all of your technological eggs in the same basket? Or is it better to have at least the phones on a different company?
Normally yours truly will post in the evening or put posts on the timer. Due to all of this (and having to get up very early tomorrow and be gone for a few hours) my own posts won’t resume until around noon, San Diego time. But “bundling” lived up to its name today: it was a bundle of problems (but a good chance to catch up on my backlog of unseen DVDs and READ A BOOK).
