Why Would Anyone Want to Assassinate Barack Obama?: Argumenty i Facty, Russia

Among the articles WORLDMEETS.US has been working on today, is this from Russia’s Argumenty i Facty about who and why would want to do away with President-elect Obama, and could they succeed in doing so? It’s an uncomfortable subject - but it’s very much part of the global public narrative.

As is the habit of Argumenty i Facty, the newspaper sought out three Russian ‘experts’ to obtain their views on the issue.

One of the people questioned, political scientist Alexander Dugin, said in part:

“We know that the American consciousness is very hypocritical. They’re all for equality, but they have nevertheless become accustomed to White domination.”

Sergey Rogov, Alexander Dugin and Maria Arbatova discuss rumors about assassination attempts against Barack Obama.

Two people who were allegedly planning to assassinate Barack Obama were arrested, even before he became president [elect]. Once the results of the election became known, rumors of a planned assassination grew louder and louder. And recently, in the suburbs of New York, nearly two-dozen cars were spray-painted with calls to “kill Obama” - along with other racist expressions. Investigations into these incidents have already begun.

In the meantime, we decided to seek the opinions of Russian experts: who would want Obama’s assassination, why would they want it and will it really happen?

    The author of one of those comments (Dugin) is a self-described fascist and has participated in an anti-Semite newspaper. From Wikipedia:

    "Dugin also collaborated with the weekly journal Den (The Day), a bastion of Russian anti-Semitism[citation needed] directed by Alexander Prokhanov."

    Nothing like condescending foreign bastards who condemn the United States while being complete hypocrites. Where's Russia's black President? Or there Chinese President? Or Muslim President? The Russian fascist calls America racist. What an idiot.

    LOL! That's a riot... we elect a black president and Dugin calls us hypocritical. Go figure.... Does he know that Obama is black and that the US citizens (the very people he calls hypocritical) elected Obama to the highest and most powerful office in our country? Has Dugin been smoking hashish?
