Obama Chooses the Best People: What a Concept! - Die Presse, Austria

Obama-envy in this world seems to know no end.
Over the past 24 hours we’ve posted two articles that fit the narrative - one from Austria and another from Venezuela.
From Austria’s Die Presse, Christian Ultsch wonders why Austrian chancellors haven’t stumbled upon the ‘obvious but rarely used method’ of ‘choosing the best minds to grapple with the issues and put people in his cabinet who actually understand their respective portfolios.’
From Venezuela’s Cal Tual, Janine Senior Vici desciribes her experience in the United States during the U.S. election campaign, and hopes that Venezuelans will do to Hugo Chavez what the people of the United States have done to Republicans.
Vici writes in part:
“I celebrated seeing North Americans finally repudiate their prejudices and choose the option of hope. … The fear card, aggressiveness and emotional blackmail didn’t work in the red states and it blew up in their faces. … Now I want to cry and jump for joy for my country and see our balance of power altered.”
