Although his unpredictable behavior and drug binging were an open secret, few of O.J. Simpson’s friends stepped up to testify against him at his infamous double-murder trial. But very few people are rushing to his side following his arrest for armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel room and two co-defendants will testify against him.
Clark County District Attorney David Roger has agreed to drop charges including kidnapping, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy against Walter Alexander and Charles Cashmore in return for guilty pleas to reduced charges and promises to take the stand against Simpson. Both men remained free pending sentencing.
Simpson lawyer Gabriel Grasso said there have been no discussions with Roger on any plea deal for Simpson and my guess is there won’t be anytime soon. It’s called sweating the Juice.
