New O.J. Simpson Book-Interview Protest Petition Site

The Goldman family has started an online petition website where those who are outraged over Regan Books’ decision to publish O.J. Simpson’s new book “If I Did It” and Fox’s decision to air the interview can make their feelings known. By signing the petition you’re also urging that the money doesn’t go to O.J. Simpson.

19908 people have signed so far.

I will sign, I also think people should boycott all fox media for this blatant play for ratings. For the Conservative Fox – Where are your Family Values?

  • Holly in Cincinnati

oh dear, Rudi and I once again agree on something!

  • Signed and added a link on my blog, too.

Well, here’s where the First Amendment comes into play. Simpson may be a very unappealing author, but it’s a free country, right? Personally, I wouldn’t buy his book, and I would think twice about buying anything else from his publisher. But Simpson has a right to write what HE wants, and we have a right to buy what WE want. Let’s hope this becomes a real remainder leader.

I don’t by books by crooks.

  • SFB is right. No one paying for it is a far better way than playing into this sicko’s hands and causing a stir.
But, it looks like Oj’s learned his lessons from the KKK, and other terrorist groups, about how to gain publicity.

The problem isn’t the freedom of speech – it’s the money making when the guy owes $33Million to the families. It’s beyond me there exists legal mechanisms for this guy to hide money.

I find it pretty ironic it’s Fox in the middle of this morass too.

The petition website they used for this is pretty cool.

  • Of course, the man has a right to write the book, the publisher has a right to publish it, and the bookstore has a right to sell it. I also have a right to not buy it, to not buy books from this publisher, and to not buy books from the bookstore who sells it. That’s what the petition is about – making this a bad business decision for Fox, for Regan Publishing, and for all who stand to profit off murder.

  • Except that petitions like this ALWAYS do the opposite. There will be reports that mention the petition, the outrage, etc. Ignoring it is a far better option, and less lucrative for OJ. Sigh.

Well since some Fox affiliates have backed off showing it due to numerous viewer complaints, I think its worth a shot. Signed and sent. I actually agree with Billo about boycotting the sponsors of this, ahem “production”.

  • have an opinion

WHY DOESN’T THIS EGOMANIACAL, SOCIOPATHIC, NARCISSISTIC MURDEROUS LUNATIC FALL OFF THE EARTH ALREADY AND TAKE THAT DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A “PUBLISHER” WITH HIM!!!!!!

THE ILLITERATE MORON COULDN’T PUT A SENTENCE TOGETHER AS HE DISPLAYED IN THAT RIDICULOUS “OH POOR ME” SUICIDE NOTE 12 YEARS AGO..DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WROTE THIS MONSTROSITY ON HIS OWN??? THE FREAK HAS PIGSKIN FOR BRAINS!!!!!!

THIS CREATURE IS NOT IN ANY WAY HUMAN AND IT’S ATROCIOUS THAT THE GOLDMANS CAN’T GET ANY PEACE.

  • Kayleigh Cummings

Thanks to all of our petitions put together, Fox has cancelled the interview!! Thanks everyone for helping out 🙂

I think it is disgusting that Fox or any other Tv station would want to interview him or any one would want to read a book that he wrote. Any one who would watch or read it is just as quilty as he is.
