We routinely get new readers so periodically it’s useful to explain a little about this site.
Welcome to The Moderate Voice. We tend to look at each issue individually and judge them individually. And it is true: TMV does not belong to any political party so he may seem at times politically all over the place. But we do make an effort to present a variety of views in our blogrolls and our occasional roundups.
We recently were lucky enough to have some writers whom we admire agree to be Guest Bloggers. They are encouraged to link to their superb posts on their own blogs and, if they can, do some original posts here. During the next few days TMV will be traveling and you’ll probably see quite a few posts by the Guest Bloggers. Each one was invited to Guest Blog because each one is an independent thinker who may be located in a certain place politically but does not take a party line. Everyone who we invited to Guest Blog is someone whose stuff we love to read.
Comments sections are good places for readers to react, do their own analysis or even leave links to stories they feel are relevant as well. We welcome varying views (TMV doesn’t always have time to answer but sometimes he will answer and agree with a commentator, other times take exception).
We love weblogs of all kinds (and USE our long blogroll, by the way, to read them). And we respect blogs of the Left, Center, Right and Other. We do have viewpoints here (someone CAN be a moderate or centrist and have a strong opinion) but we also respect and acknowedge other ones as well.
