Hillary Clinton misses the point
by Slamfu
Ok, this one response from Hillary Clinton, responding to Bernie Sanders’s last ad which, without naming names, spoke of the ill effects of taking lobbying money from Wall St. On January 14th she had an interview with Rachel Maddow. Talking about the Sanders ad she said this:
“So, what I think people reacted to is that it was a very broad assertion that caught up all Democrats. I mean, basically, it`s also a very direct criticism of President Obama, who you may recall took a lot of funding from the financial industry when he ran in 2008.”
Is it just me or was her defense “We’re all on the take, so it’s ok.” The fact lots of Democrats take bribes apparently in her mind means that Sanders shouldn’t bring it up. Party over what needs to be done apparently. I think she inadvertently showed EXACTLY why Bernie is what we need, and why we need to ditch the establishment, in this case represented by Clinton. Thank you for driving home the point that the Sanders ad was only hinting at.
