It’s only funny because its true!

And of course no one in their right mind would bring up the hated “gas tax” 40 days before midterms, LOL-talk about political suicide. And once again happy days are here again, despite the dire report just released that we have about a decade to restrict our auto emissions output until its too late to reverse global warming! I guess I’m just a party pooper!

Wait, I thought we were going to run out of oil before we had a chance to burn enough of it to turn the planet into Venus. Or maybe I’m just behind the times on apocalyptic scenarios these days.

  • SnarkyShark

Wait, I thought we were going to run out of oil before we had a chance to burn enough of it to turn the planet into Venus.

You know, this cartoon is lampooning people exactly like you. But since most righties are irony defecient, I doubt you get that.

Oh, and the cartoon was about gas prices nonwithstanding your attempt to turn it into some global-warming Dittohead propaganda thread.

    Nice try though.

Is it just me or did Snarky just contradict himself.

I’d say after reading up a bit on the global warming issue that we aren’t going to end human life as we know it before we run out of gas, but we might induce a few mass-famines. A few hundred thousand, possibly a million lives is nothing to scoff at.

You know, this cartoon is lampooning people exactly like you.

So you thought the cartoon was about anthropogenic global warming? Okay…

  • SnarkyShark

Is it just me or did Snarky just contradict himself.

    Its probably just you.

On second and third reading the cartoon seems to be poking fun at the national case of ADD. But I do admit to be something of a dumb-ass, so why dont you very slowly explain to me how this cartoon is about global warming?

Cause I really really want to be as smart as you guys.

At the year-high we paid 1.5 EUR/litre in Holland this year. Which pretty much means USD 4.5 per gallon. Still the car is cheaper than public transport. No wonder we still have so many traffic jams here every day.
