The blogosophere is raging with President Barack Obama being blasted for saying he didn’t set the “red line” in Syria. In fact, Obama said that international norms and agreement set the red line years ago. His comments came in a press conference in Sweden. Rather than give you one more personal-opinion take — which is what you’ll find now on all blogs — here is the full press conference so you an judge for yourself what he said. Those who truly want to assess the situation will watch the press conference, then draw their conclusions. But it is easier to go to a website that supports or opposes the war and quickly read their take (but you can usually figure out what it’ll be once you visit the site).
Watch it and draw your own conclusions through your own political prism. Most likely, you’ll find more nuance in what he said than what you’ll read on many websites:
