Holy $#!+. This clip makes me want to vomit, but in a good way…

Torturing people for information has consequences. The most likely is the fact that you’re torturing being leaked to the press and the blogosphere.
Now a former UK ambassador has published some documents on his blog that suggest the UK has been outsourcing torture to Uzbekistan. I don’t know if any of this is true or not, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
More info if you’d like.

They also loom over many cities and states…
The costs are scary, and they speak to how much subsidized health care by the state actually costs in our country. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t pay, but it does mean that it looks like it’s going to hurt quite a bit…

So, if you like flash games, you may like this one put forth by the fantastic beer makers of Stella Artois. They make such a good brew and such a good flash game as well…
And to that point…keep Santa on the straight and narrow.
It’s a lot harder than you think…especially if you’re…altered…

I never really thought about the hidden cost of torture, but recently I read an editorial that really opened my eyes to what those who do the torturing have to go through.

Oh yes, it’s true. And yet, China continues to rack up the brownie points with the world community given their “blistering” economy…
When will they let their people go?

HONG KONG, Dec. 16 — At first glance, it looked like a spirited online discussion about an essay written nearly 80 years ago by modern China’s greatest author. But then again, the exchange on a popular Chinese bulletin board site seemed a bit emotional, given the subject.

The true inventor of the internet started a blog at the beginning of the month.
Here’s his latest post.
In 1989 one of the main objectives of the WWW was to be a space for sharing information. It seemed evident that it should be a space in which anyone could be creative, to which anyone could contribute. The first browser was actually a browser/editor, which allowed one to edit any page, and save it back to the web if one had access rights.
Strangely enough, the web took off very much as a...

I’ve decided that I’m going to try, as best I can, to provide all of you with a laugh everyday I post here on TMV. After all, with the political landscape as goofy as it is right now, we need a good laugh.
So yesterday I presented the chain-smoking mother-to-be who was worried about her unborn baby’s health because of the noisy jackhammers outside of her house. And while many of you made fun of her, I think she had a legitimate concern. After all, loud noises are much more harmful...

Raw Story reports that Fitzgerald wasn’t particularly enamored with Rove’s last minute testimony. But what does that mean?
Here’s more:
A few weeks after he took over the investigation into the leak of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson in early 2004, Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald had already become suspicious that Karl Rove and Vice President Cheney’s then-chief of staff I. Lewis “Scooter Libby were hindering his investigation.
In late January...

Nope, it’s not Holly.
Hey everybody, this is Justin Gardner from Donklephant. Today I turned 29. Now I get a whole year to anticipate turning 30. As George W. Bush would infamously declare, and John Kerry would unconvincingly stammer, “Bring…It…On!”
Oh, and if you want to get me a present, vote for Donklephant in the Weblog Awards by going here.
I love you all very much.
