Andrew Cuomo has been sworn in as New York State’s Governor, fulfilling a dream of following in his Dad’s footsteps:
Look for Cuomo — even if he has modest success in that position — to become a major political and media player on the national stage. It’s clear news organizations will be falling all over themselves to get his comments on politics as the 2012 Presidential elections approach. And by being the Governor of New York, his name will eventually…some year…be booted around for the Oval Office. If his moment comes, look for this Cuomo to seize it, rather than ponder the moment forever until it is lost like his father Mario Cuomo did.
But as the Washington Post notes: Cuomo now faces huge crises.
