TMV’s diverse group of writers have been posting up a storm these days, but I’ve gotten emails asking why I haven’t posted as much. The reason: over the past few weeks I’ve been driving to do several events a day in my other incarnation — and getting ready to go on the road.
On Tuesday afternoon I’ll get into my van and leave for a 7 week trip (gas prices and all) to do events in Montana, Wyoming and Iowa, often going back and forth between these states. This means my posting will be more erratic. On some days I’ll have three shows a day. On others, I’ll drive 500 to 600 miles a day. On others, I will most assuredly be in some hotels where the Internet will NOT work.
One plus from the standpoint of TMV: I plan a series of Voters’ Voices posts that will be datelined from some key cities and town — interviews with a voter picked at random. And if there’s a local story with a Campaign 2008 slant, I’ll pick up on it as well.
So starting today I will still be posting but on some days more than others and I might even disappear for a day if I’m in a hotel with poor Internet and no Starbucks in town. But TMV won’t miss me: we offer you a buffet of writers and additional thoughts via our Guest Voice posts.
