Americans ache as Hillary banks: 5 reasons why voters should consider the GOP in 2016
by Jordan Cooper
Americans will be ready for a presidential nominee that happens to be female when she has proven herself as a full-fledged public servant. Hillary has proven herself as a faithful spouse, caring mother, and had success in her legal career. There are many females who can attest to being a good mother, partner, and being accomplished in their careers. Therefore, we need someone who is not always plagued by bickering that’s directly or indirectly stemming from their own dilemmas. Here are the reasons why voters should consider the GOP in 2016.
1. Hillary Clinton lacks significant political achievements. We must first remember she was appointed by President Jimmy Carter to lead a trial lawyer group in the late 1970s and served on her husband’s education task force in Arkansas in utter futility. She then served on her husband’s health care task force in a similar manner. These politically professional experiences brought limited results and she could not defeat the unseasoned Senator Barack Obama in 2008. Her political record looks more like a ceremonial figure or women’s activist’s record than a public servant’s.
2. What is more important for Hillary Clinton morality or potential political power gain? Hillary is no doubt a tough woman. She has been through more commotion than Alex Rodriguez or Lindsey Lohan combined. From her questionable property dealings in Whitewater while her hubby was Arkansas’ A.G. to Clinton’s impeachment by Congress in 1998, it has been a fiasco. She’s used to soap opera drama mixed with public affairs. Not exactly aligned with meeting the concerns of American citizens at all times as a trusted politician.
3. Hillary Clinton has had more controversies during her Secretary of State tenure in peacetime for America than Dr. Condi Rice had her whole term. The prime example of this is the incident in Benghazi, which should be a warning sign for errant decision-making in foreign policy. Besides, her husband was not much better because he declined to pursue an international criminal case when the Sudanese government in 1996 identified Osama Bin Laden as a major threat.
4. Clinton is still trying to ride on the coat tails of her husband. We thought she was standing up for women and not just literally going for another political win to make gender history. Treading back, if we had the same tax rates that were in place during the Clinton Administration and her healthcare plan, our unemployment rate would be double what it is now. Also, don’t forget the economy was slowly falling off at the end of Clinton’s term and NAFTA is a legit reason for our immigration mess. So, lets not just go with the flow: lets look at the unbiased charts.
5. Clinton was a Sarah Palin wannabe. She is a former CR chair, volunteer for Senator Barry Goldwater, and staunch conservative. She ditched her conservative political views when she wedded Bill Clinton. Now she is receiving Social Security and wants to get her flair back by banking through show business to energize her public relations machine in order to raise attention and get money to fuel her political agenda.
Today in America, we need a leader whose itinerary is public service not personal promotion. It may be Hillary’s time to land a gig on TV — but not the Oval Office.
