Given all of the negative stories we see, especially involving high school kids, it’s nice to be able to report a good one.
For most of the US, it’s not lacrosse season yet, but it is at a high school in Florida where a school team arranged a special game to allow one player to perform for her dad.
You might ask why they felt the need to do so now, with lacrosse season only a few months away.
The sad answer is that in a few months, one dad won’t be around anymore. He’s dying of lung cancer and has only a short time to live
So dozens of players and hundreds of students, parents, coaches, etc decided to honor one of his dying wishes.
It makes you feel good about people again.
