A friendly reminder that we offer some folks (for the final time) with a heartfelt smile.
We appreciate you visiting this site, reading the posts and passionately commenting. But please read the agreement below the comments area. Simply insulting people who write posts on this blog is the most basic violation of our rules. Outline why you disagree with someone on a post, then make your best case according to your beliefs. We’ve now received more complaints from readers and cobloggers about several people. One has been warned already. No more warnings will be given after this one. No one here minds criticism; personal attacks and insults aren’t appreciated.
Anyone who reads our comments knows that there is spirited debate and that TMV has — and welcomes and values — readers of all beliefs. We aren’t issuing any more warnings. We will simply ban people who repeatedly violate the rules spelled out — rules observed by all of the folks who create the fiery, issue-oriented debates under the posts that we write. If you want to insult or personally attack the cobloggers or other contributors here, then start your own blog where you can set the rules. You don’t on this site. We won’t leave comments or email those who are banned, notifying them that they’ve been banned; we will just ban them, just as editors of print publications don’t print letters from everyone person who sends one.
