I use to work in social services and I’ve known this. It’s criminal to keep the jobs from easy access for the black men in this country. Many are really nice, eager to work and want to work. but, the sterotyping of them being dangerous and bad and wanting to commit crimes is so unfair. They are human beings and should be treated as such.
It’s the great untold story and the one that is so covered in sterotypes and racism that it really angers me.
It just plain unfair.
Of course it is. It’s another case of painting with a broad brush stroke because no one is looking at the facts on the ground very clearly.
