We use different language for different audiences.
It depends on whether I want to inflame an audience or persuade them.
It seems to me that the language of persuasion is more tame so that I can get passed emotional resistance to interact with reason.
I enjoy the posters and commenters here who are more interested in engaging in reason than emotional ping pong.
I’m sticking with Godwin.
