This is something new???? No, it’s not *new*. Many, many programmers have been shouting for more than 6 years that there are problems of every sort with Diebold machines. It’s just now becoming an ‘issue’ with MSM.
I would say vote absentee, but that’s not a sure bet that those votes will be counted. I know that the county I live in, the absentee ballots are counted *only* if the number of absentee ballots are greater than the difference in vote counts for the canidates for the office in question. But, what I’m not sure about is if all the offices need to have that difference. So, if canidate A has 3000 votes, canidate B has 1700, canidate C has 1100, where the number of absentee ballots is 1000, the absentee ballots won’t be counted.

This would be illegal in California and may be illegal in your state. If it isn’t, the legislature should make it illegal.
That said … this is often believed to be the case when it isn’t, so I feel compelled to ask: what’s your source for this claim?

My source…. the County Auditor herself. She was asked by the local news about absentee ballots and that was her answer. This was several years ago.
Iowa: wow. I find that somewhat astonishing, and think that the good people of Iowa should be trying to change the law to prohibit that.
