The music scene of today is so awful I can’t bring myself to buy anything other than replacement CD’s for my old music. The man had ana amazing ear, and more importantly taste for good music. Now we are to choose from carefully crafted “musicians” which have their “music” written for them. Pop tarts with no redeeming qualities, hip hop with nothing to say besides how much bling, or hoes they have, regurgutated country more like pop rock than country, and none of it is worth a cent.

And the recording industry wonders why people pirate music? Give us something worth buying for a change and maybe we won’t do that.

Atlantic Record has been incredibly important for rock music. Job well done.

And, I hope this doesn’t sound cynical, I have to add: What a way to leave this worldly stage. At a Stones concert, of all places! Wow.
