I did not hear of riots in the netherlands, only in Brussels (Belgium)

Oops! My mistake. I had read the story earlier in the day and remembered references to Theo van Gogh and upcoming elections in some of the pieces, so I was thinking of the Netherlands. I should have been more careful.
I apologize.
As far the their ethnic background, many articles only identify them as “North African.” Most North Africans in Brussels are Moroccan. So yes, the are ‘North African’ your ass. In fact, I didn’t see a single article identifying the rioters as being strictly Moroccan.
